Versatile Blogger Award

I’m speechless, honestly! I can’t believe the overwhelming love and support which I have constantly received since starting up blogging again. I’ve been going properly for just under two months now so am extremely honored to have been nominated for this award.

First up I want to say a huge thank you to Daniel from ‘Travels with Thomosaurus’ for nominating me for this Versatile Blogger Award. Travels with Thomosaurus is a fantastic blog about all things travel, providing tips and tricks for anyone new to travelling or those who want to in the future, with amazing photography alongside every post.

The Versatile Blogger Award, for those who are unaware, is an award given blogger to blogger to those who’s content they enjoy reading / think have amazing blogs. Therefore, as I have been nominated I will go on later in this post to nominate some bloggers whose content I love.

The rules:

(Re-posted from the Versatile Blogger Award site, linkedΒ here.)

  • Thank the person who gave you / nominated you for the award (including the link too).
  • Select up to 15 blogs / bloggers that you’ve recently discovered or follow regularly.
  • Nominate those bloggers for the ‘Versatile Blogger Award’, including a link to their site.
  • Finally, tell the person who nominated you 7 things about yourself.

7 Things About Me:
  1. I’m 5″8′ (ish) and a natural redhead.
  2. I’m an athlete, I used to do Heptathlon but now I mainly focus on Shot Put and Discus throwing.
  3. I broke my arm when I was 10 in a hurdling accident so had to have a metal plate and pins inserted to fix me back together (literally)! I’ve since had another operation to remove them.
  4. I’m a self taught artist and have had my work published in two poetry books!
  5. I can swim nearly 50m underwater (random, I know, I used to do it in a 25m pool and had to turn around at the end).
  6. When I was little I had to have gromits as I was deaf and couldn’t hear anything, my parents just thought I was ignoring them!
  7. I can say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious backwards.

My Nominations:

My nominations will have their blogs linked on their name and also their Twitter handles so you can follow along with all their content. They’re all amazing bloggers and have been super supportive since I started my blogging journey, so this is a little way for me to say thank you!

Thank you so much to everyone, hope you enjoyed reading and can’t wait to find out your 7 facts too!

  8. Oh My God, 50m underwater is impressive. I don’t know how long I can stay underwater but probably about 8 seconds maximum haha. Having your poetry in 2 books is amazing- well done. And saying supercalifragilisticexpialidocious is definitely a skill, I stumble on saying everyday words forward haha. Lovely post. x

    1. Haha thank you, I’m really proud of them (the poetry books, well, suppose I can be with the underwater swimming too!) It’s such a random thing to be able to do! Glad you enjoyed! x

      1. Haha you should be 😊 yes I always like random facts though πŸ˜‚ x

  9. Hi Imogen
    Congratulations!
You sound like a terrific individual I can’t wait to view your work.
So how do you say supercalifragelistic…. backwards??
Cute little duck they’re so tame when they’re little and so noisy when they’re all in a bunch!

    1. Thank you so much Connie! Ah that’s so exciting, typing it would be a little challenging but in the film it’s said backwards as well as forwards so that’s how I learnt! πŸ˜€ Haha this one was very calm, another however panicked and pooped everywhere! Oops! x

  10. I really enjoy reading posts like these. I love finding out random facts about people and getting to know the face behind the blog!
