There’s nothing I love more when the nights are getting cooler than to have a cosy night in. It’s even nicer when you’ve been out all day, the weather is a bit ‘meh’ and you have no evening plans – well, that’s about to change as I give you plans for the ‘Ultimate Cosy Night In’.
You can find all the ingredients for the ‘Ultimate Cosy Night In’ here:
Warm and fluffy pyjamas or a onesie:
No cosy night in is complete without some fabulous pajamas or a onesie to keep you that extra little bit warmer, I have a vast selection of pj’s to choose from and four onesies so I am rather spoilt for choice. Getting into my pj’s was always one of the first things I did after getting in from school when I was younger and this certainly hasn’t changed now I’m older!
An enormous mug of hot chocolate:
Now, this is a given for me as it is my automatic go to drink when the weather is a little cooler and I want to feel all warm and cosy (that doesn’t actually stop me from drinking it all year round though either)! Adding whipped cream and marshmallows to your hot chocolate oozes indulgence and you can’t help but feel a little naughty tucking into this tasty treat, a perfect movie companion.
A good book or movie choice:
Whether you settle down with an old favourite, a timeless classic or a new sourced find there is nothing better than a book or movie companion to spend the evening with.
After getting into my pj’s I like to read a book and listen to some music – Eloise (my sister).
A bundle of blankets:
You’re probably thinking – DUH! Blankets are probably one of THE most obvious ingredients to an ultimate cosy night in because well, you really can’t beat them, plus they’re good present suggestions.
A feast of treats:
Naturally, you can’t fully indulge, relax and have the ultimate night in without some tasty goodies. We’ve already mentioned the hot chocolate but if that’s not for you why not have a different kind of hot drink or a glass of wine. Add in a lovely dinner and some after dinner treats and you’re all set, I have some delicious recipes you can enjoy here!
An enormous bubble bath:
Probably one of the best ways to enjoy your evening would be to have an enormous bubble bath, unless you don’t like bubble baths but who doesn’t? Whether you have it before or after your dinner is up to you but you won’t ever be disappointed!
I like to have a relaxing bubble bath with a good book and then finish the evening watching a film in front of the fire with a glass of wine. – Mummy.
I’m off to enjoy my ultimate cosy night in now, I hope you have enjoyed this post! Let me know in the comments below what would be part of your evening and be sure to send me some photos of your evenings on my social media!
