I can’t wait to share with you this ‘Flawesome Award’ post which I was nominated for by the lovely Anne from foreverthewandererΒ and Pippa from phigella.com thank you Anne and Pippa! This award was created by Sophie IsmaaΒ and is all about celebrating our flaws and turning them into strengths.
The Rules
- Link back to the creator and thank the person who nominated you.
- Display the award on your blog.
- List three flaws and turn them into strengths.
- Tag 10 other people to celebrate their flaws too.
My ‘Flaws’:
Number One: My Attention To Detail / Perfectionist.
I’d say that is one of my biggest ‘flaws’, when working on a project I like to pay attention to every single detail to make sure that it is perfect. If it is not perfect or there is something I do not like, I will not finish the project until I am happy. This can be considered a ‘flaw’ as it sometimes means things take longer to complete, for example, when I was doing GCSE Art I spent 20 hours instead of 10 on my mock GCSE. Although I did have to work faster for the real thing, making sure everything was perfect in my GCSE Art exam meant that I received one of the highest marks awarded.
Number Two: My Impatience:
I think this is one which can be said for a lot of people. Often, when working on a project or waiting for feedback from something, whatever that may be, I’m quite impatient and just want to find out straight away. However, when something like this is happening I try to work on something else to distract myself and take my mind off it. This means that I often end up getting more stuff done, instead of just sitting around and waiting.
Number Three: Procrastination:
I procrastinate SO much. Even for this post I started it and then left it unfinished for a while. I have only just come back to it. I get distracted easily and find it hard sometimes to start something. That being said, when I do start something I make sure that I plan it out well, especially with my uni work but once I’ve started it the good thing is I am prepared. It would probably make my life easier though if I actually got started straight away!

I hope you have enjoyed this post, even if you weren’t nominated why not let me know one of your flaws down below. Let’s celebrate them together!
Oh procrastination is one of my favourite things to do lol!
Such an easy and very naughty pastime haha! x
One of my biggest flaws is not having enough confidence. I never feel like what I have to say is important enough for others and I’m always asking others what they think before posting my posts. I only start feeling better about things when I see a post getting a lot of views. I’m working on it though.
It’s good to hear you’re working on it, it may take time and that’s okay! As long as you make yourself happens then that is what matters.
Totally agree about perfectionism I can get like this as well. I think procrastination is a massive student pastime it might get better for you when you leave Uni – I found I have no choice but to do things now hahah! For me I’m probably going to say overthinking is a big flaw of mine – that and being too caring/ nice!
Hahaha we can only hope, starting to get my act together though as so many deadlines and things coming up I have to! You’re absolutely lovely, not always a flaw! x
Ah, I love your answers. I really enjoy seeing this award and how people turn their flaws into strengths. Thank you so much for the nomination, I look forward to writing up my own post.
You’re more than welcome, I can’t wait to read your post! x
