My 22nd Birthday in Pictures

Happy 1st December everyone and happy start of Blogmas – I’m not going the whole hog but I will be posting more frequently, ‘Imogen’s 12 Days of Blogmas’ style!

As you may know I turned the ripe old age of 22 on Tuesday and I wanted to share some photographs from all of my celebrations.

My Celebrations:

I came home the weekend before my birthday and went out for dinner at Tosca with my family, the meal was AMAZING. We finished the evening by watching ‘The Holiday’ – one of my absolute favourite films. On the Sunday morning my Mum, Dad and I all went for breakfast and my Auntie turned up as a surprise. In the afternoon we played the game ‘Dos’ (the new version of Uno) and ate numerous helpings of Colin the Caterpillar cake and Connie’s too!

On my actual birthday I was in University 9-5 (unfortunately) but I managed to make the best out of a ‘bad’ situation. Some friends and I went out to GBK for lunch and my friend Jas surprised me with the NICEST cake! It was raspberry and chocolate, I even got free onion rings as it was my birthday! I was thoroughly spoilt with presents and goodies from friends and family and even came back to a flat full of balloons and banners. Cameron had been busy decorating whilst I was at uni!

I ended the day going out for a lovely (very large) meal at Zizzi’s with Cameron and skyped my sister in Canada to open my birthday presents! I honestly had such a good birthday and I am so grateful to each and everyone of my friends and family who made it so special. The fact Cameron also bought a SECOND Colin the Caterpillar cake was an amazing surprise too!

Cue multiple photographs of me with cake!

I hope you all enjoyed this different style of post and seeing all the photographs from my birthday celebrations. I am aiming to post more frequently throughout December and already have some very exciting posts lined up so be sure to check out my blog more often.

Feel free to follow me on Twitter or subscribe to my blog to be notified when a post goes live!ย Voting is still open for the UK Blog Awardsย too and it would mean the world if you voted for me.

This post was inspired by Jessica’s 21st birthday post which you can find here.

That’s so right, I don’t mind really, especially as this year I would have been sat on my own in an empty flat! I didn’t like the year I had an exam on my birthday though – no thank you! Thank you so much, have an amazing holiday season too! x

  9. Looks like you had such a good birthday! All the photos are so cute! I wouldn’t mind having uni on my birthday, in all honesty. My degree means we get half terms and mine in in May half term so I never get to see any of my uni friends. But, we make sure to make up for it when we return haha. Lovely post x

Thank you, ah we get half terms as well but my birthday is always during normal term time. That’s nice you still celebrate with uni friends though! xx
